Our standard headboard is 54 inches (about 137 cm) from the floor, tall enough to sit up against with pillows behind you. Go taller when the bed is the centrepiece of the room or the ceiling is high: 60 inches (152 cm) adds presence without dominating, 72 inches (183 cm) makes a statement wall, and 73 to 79 inches fills a high-ceilinged period room.
Pick the height on the bed page; the extra cost shows as you choose it. A taller headboard is also a bigger single piece to carry, so check your stairs and landing first. Our bed size guide shows how to measure.

Will a tall headboard fit my room?
Measure from the floor to the ceiling, and to the bottom of any window or shelf behind the bed. Leave at least a hand-width of space above the headboard.
Will a tall headboard get up my stairs?
The headboard is the largest single piece of the bed. If your stairs or landing are tight, send us the measurements on WhatsApp and we will check before you order.
