TV Beds

A TV bed hides a television inside the footboard. A lift raises the screen when you want it and drops it entirely out of sight when you do not, so the bedroom goes back to being a bedroom rather than a room with a screen bolted to the wall.

The headboard matters more than the mechanism. If you are buying a TV bed you intend to sit up in it, so a tall, heavily padded or tufted headboard is worth more than any feature of the lift. A flat hard board means stacking pillows every evening, which is what makes most TV beds uncomfortable in practice.

We offer upholstered and metal frames. Metal is slimmer and reflects light, so it suits a smaller or darker room where an upholstered TV bed would overwhelm the space. Upholstered is warmer and better to lean against.
