Montauk Curved Winged Chesterfield Bed Frame

A sweeping curved-top headboard in Chesterfield pleating, between winged sides.

The Montauk's headboard curves across the top in a single sweep, and the Chesterfield pleating follows that curve rather than sitting in a straight grid. Getting pleating to follow a curve cleanly is the difficult part of this design and it is what the bed is worth looking at for.

Wings frame the curve on either side, which contains the shape rather than letting it run off into the wall. The surround is otherwise kept deliberately minimal and the footboard is upholstered plainly, so nothing competes with the headboard.
