Pattonsburg Bordered Upholstered Bed Frame

A raised fabric border framing deep buttoned upholstery.

The Pattonsburg runs a raised border of matching fabric around the outside of both headboard and footboard, sitting slightly proud of the buttoned panel inside it. It is effectively a frame made from the same material as the picture.

That one move does a lot of work. The border gives the headboard a defined edge without needing contrast trim, and it makes the deep buttoning inside read as a deliberate panel rather than upholstery running to the edges.
