Bouclé beds

Bouclé is woven from looped yarn, which gives it that soft, nubbly, sheepskin-like surface. On a bed it does two useful things: it hides the pressure marks and pile shading that velvet shows, and it softens a strong shape, so a curved or winged headboard looks relaxed rather than formal.
