A tall headboard with a softly curved top and straight sides.

The Dorthy keeps its sides straight and puts all the shaping into the top edge, which curves gently across the full width of the headboard. There are no wings, so the frame sits flat against the wall and takes up no more width than the mattress it holds.

That makes it the easier tall headboard to place. A curved top gives you height and a defined silhouette without the side projection that winged frames need, so it works in an alcove or between fitted wardrobes where a winged bed simply would not go.

Deep buttoning across the face gives the velvet something to do, and the beading around the edge can be specified to match or contrast.

The Dorothy is made in 6 UK sizes, from Small Single (£349) to Super King (£479). Each size takes a standard UK mattress.

Can I get the Dorothy with storage?

Yes. Choose a gas-lift ottoman base, a divan base or drawers under Storage above. Each option shows its price for your size before you add it.

Which fabrics and colours can I choose?

Six fabrics in 72 colours: French plush velvet, Delta crushed velvet, Soft Marble velvet, Austin plush, Mayfair linen-look and Teddy bouclé. Free samples are posted out so you can see the colour at home.

How long does delivery take?

Your bed is handmade to order, so allow 3 to 4 weeks. Delivery is free to the UK mainland and we contact you to arrange the day.
