A plain padded headboard, finished with beading in a colour you pick.

Not every bedroom wants a feature wall behind the pillows. The Johnnay is deliberately restrained — a generously padded flat headboard with no pleating, no buttoning and no wings, upholstered in soft velvet and left to do its job quietly.

The one decision you make is the beading. Run it in a matching tone and the outline almost disappears; pick a contrast and you get a cleanly drawn edge around the whole headboard. It is the most adaptable frame in the range and the easiest to live with over time.

Specification

  • Flat generously padded headboard, no buttoning
  • Beading or stud trim in a matching or contrasting colour
  • Soft velvet upholstery in your choice of colour
  • Low-profile upholstered footboard
  • Small Single through to Super King

Suits: Guest rooms, rentals, and anyone who redecorates and needs the bed to survive it.
