A UK king mattress measures 150 × 200 cm (5'0" × 6'6"). That is the size every frame on this page is built around, so any standard UK king mattress fits. The frame itself is larger than the mattress: siderails, padding and wings add roughly 5 to 25 cm on each side depending on the design, and the headboard adds depth at the top.
A king suits two adults who want more width and an extra 10 cm of length. For a comfortable room allow about 3.0 × 3.0 m; 2.7 × 2.8 m is tight but workable if nothing opens into the walkway. Our bed size guide covers measuring the room, stairs and doorways.

What size is a UK king bed?
A UK king mattress is 150 × 200 cm (5'0" × 6'6"). The frame is wider and longer than the mattress, by about 5 to 25 cm each side depending on the design.
What size room do I need for a king bed?
Allow about 3.0 × 3.0 m for a comfortable fit with space to walk round the bed. 2.7 × 2.8 m is workable if no wardrobe door or drawer opens into the walkway.
How much bigger is a super king than a king?
A UK super king is 30 cm wider than a king (180 cm against 150 cm) and the same 200 cm length. It needs a room of about 3.4 × 3.2 m to walk round comfortably.
Do your king beds come with a mattress?
The frame is sold on its own, so you can use a mattress you already have. If you need one, you can add a king mattress on the bed page, from open coil to pillow top, and it is delivered with your bed.
How long does delivery take?
