Bedline is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us at support@bedline.co.uk.

What we collect

• Order details: your name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number and what you bought.
• Messages you send us by email or WhatsApp, and sample requests.
• Basic technical data such as your device, browser and pages visited, and cookies needed for your basket to work.

Card payments are handled by our payment providers through Shopify checkout. We never see or store your full card details.

How we use it

• To make, deliver and support your order (contract).
• To answer your questions and send samples (legitimate interests).
• To send marketing emails, only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time (consent).
• To meet legal and accounting obligations (legal obligation).

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with the companies that help us run the shop: Shopify (store and checkout), our payment providers, Vercel (website hosting), and our manufacturing and delivery partners so they can make and deliver your bed. We do not sell your data.

Where it is stored

Some providers store data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations are used.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for 6 years for tax and accounting purposes. Other data is kept only as long as needed.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, or move it to another provider. Email us to make a request. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep your basket working. We measure visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or identify you; it records anonymous page views only. If we ever use analytics or advertising cookies, we will ask for your consent first and you can change your choice at any time.
